Pitting
Formation, due to corrosion, of small cavities in a metal substrate

Pot Life
This is the period after mixing a two component product during which the material can still be used and applies to approximately a 5 litre pack size of paint

Powder coating
Process by which the coating is applied to the substrate by electrostatic spraying in the form of a powder and is then fused by heat to produce a coherent film

Power floated
The surface finish a freshly poured concrete floor will take if it has been mechanically tamped/polished before hardening. The appearance is shiny and is therefore unsuitable to be painted without proper preparation (acid etch)
