FAQ - New plaster

I've been told to seal my new plaster walls before painting, what should I use?

As long as the plaster is dry we would recommend thinning down the first coat of emulsion that is being used with clean water, approximately 10%.This will help the first coat of paint go on easier and will quench the porosity  of the new plaster. Do not seal the walls with anything else this could make application of the paint harder.
