Johnstone’s Satin Woodstain is BBA approved and has been specifically formulated for use on smooth timber joinery. Ideal for doors, windows, fascia boards, cladding and garden furniture, Johnstone’s Satin Woodstain provides a smooth, microporous, satin finish that highlights the natural grain of the wood and is especially beneficial when used on exterior joinery.
Johnstone’s Satin Woodstain also provides a durable UV resistant finishing coat when used in conjunction with Johnstone’s Matt Woodstain, which absorbs easily into new timber to provide a basecoat. One coat of Johnstone’s Matt Woodstain followed by two coats of Johnstone’s Satin Woodstain will give up to five years’ protection from the harmful effects of weathering.
Johnstone’s Satin Woodstain is also available in a water-based, quick drying, microporous formulation, Johnstone’s Quick Dry Satin Woodstain, which ensures that most tasks can be completed in one day.
