Johnstone’s Trade has announced the four successful finalists in its Community Makeover competition 2017.

Nominations were submitted from across the UK and the judges have whittled the entrants down to a shortlist of four projects: The Bradby Club, Warwickshire; St David’s Primary School, Dalkeith; Doncaster Samaritans and Kentish Town Farm, London.

The decision on who will win the Johnstone’s Trade Community Spirit Makeover competition now lies with members of the public, who can get behind their favourite project as part of a public vote.

The winner of the competition will attend the prestigious Johnstone’s Trade Painter of the Year Awards ceremony.

Richard Mazurkiewicz, Marketing Manager at Johnstone’s Trade, commented: “We’re always looking for ways that we can make a difference among communities and transforming a well-loved building that is close to the hearts of people in the local area is a huge motivation for us.

“We’ve got a fantastic set of projects bidding for the makeover this year. If there’s a project that means something to you, it needs your vote, so head over to the website and show your support.”

Voting closed on 21st April.
