Building on the success of previous years, Johnstone’s Trade has once again launched the Community Spirit Competition which aims to reach out to communities and give one lucky winner a redecoration makeover worth £10,000. Residents from across the UK are encouraged to nominate a community project or charity which they feel is deserving of this inspiring makeover.
The Community Spirit makeover is this year being combined with the Community Spirit Award. The winner of the Community Spirit Award, announced at the prestigious ‘Painter of The Year Awards’, will get the privilege of carrying out the makeover supported by PPG Extra. In return both winners will receive an extensive PR and Advertising campaign that will promote their achievements across industry.
Last year’s Community Spirit Competition saw Rotherham based women’s charity Rotherham Rise - which provides support for women and children affected by domestic abuse – crowned the winner and receive the £10,000 makeover.
The closing date for nominations is 24/02/17, applications will then be shortlisted to four and put to a public vote. You can find a link below to the application form on the Johnstone’s trade website.
