What is the Community Makeover?

Following a successful launch in 2014, the Johnstone's Trade Community Makeover competition has returned for 2017. We have gone through an extensive application process, shortlisted to four deserving charity and community projects in the UK, and held a public vote allowing the communities to select their winner.
The winner will soon receive a much needed makeover for their building, bringing colour and life back to their community.

Our Winner!

The winner of the 2017 Community Makeover is Kentish Town City Farm!

The farm provides animal therapy sessions for  people with disabilities, hosts clubs and sessions for  disadvantaged children in the local area, and teaches children  how to manage a farm and its animals. Click here to see more about KT City Farm

They will be invited to the prestigious Painter of the Year Awards in May which is now celebrating its 34th year. This is a black tie event held at Oulton Hall; and is dedicated to recognising the highest standards within the decorating industry. As a result over 200 guests from the industry attend each year and are judged across five categories. Here the winner of our Community Award will be announced, then the work can begin!
