Johnstone's Trade Smooth Metal Paint is a primer and top coat in one, which can be applied direct to bare, previously painted or rusted surface and provides a smooth, flat, gloss finish. Offering up to 8 years' protection, extending standard maintenance cycles, Johnstone's Trade Smooth Metal Paint offers anti-corrosive properties whilst maintaining excellent adhesion attributes. With our Smooth Metal Paint there is no need to prime, as it can be applied onto corroded surfaces and provides good resistance to water, humidity and UVA. Particularly suitable for renovation of corroded substrates after the manual removal of loose layers of rust, it can also be used on steel cast iron and other steel elements.
