Johnstone’s Trade Stormshield Aqua Guard Exterior Primer Undercoat is a premium quality, water-based primer and undercoat that is ideal for exterior wood. It has excellent adhesion to previously painted surfaces and most porous substrates. When used over bare timber it prevents resins from staining through into the finish. It acts as the perfect undercoat to the Johnstone’s Trade Stormshield Aqua Guard Exterior Gloss or Satin, with excellent opacity and adhesion.
*To ensure the paint system achieves its 8 years to first maintenance the product must be applied in accordance with a project specific Johnstone’s Trade Technical Specification and BS 6150:2019, Code of Practice for Painting Buildings.
